Fantastic opportunity for an experienced Direct Marketing Specialist / Project Manager to drive the Direct Marketing (Acquisition and Retention) Strategy for the RAA; and manage the Print / Communications stream within a major business transformation project.

As the Direct Marketing Manager, your key responsibility will be to develop and implement direct marketing acquisition and retention initiatives for the RAA across multiple products. You will bring with you significant experience in a similar role.

For an 18 month period you will also manage a Project Stream (print/communications) within a large enterprise wide project and deliver against the agreed objectives of the project.

To be suitable for this role, you must be tertiary qualified in Marketing/Business and have a minimum of 5 – 10 years direct marketing campaign management experience. Previous project management experience will be highly valued, as will exposure to Document Management Solutions such as Thunderhead or similar.

Direct Marketing Management:

• Build and manage the competency of the direct marketing team.
• Lead the Direct Marketing function in consultation with external Direct Marketing agency from strategy development through to execution.
• Be a key member of the wider RAA Marketing Communications team.
• Analyse and report on the return on investment for Direct Marketing campaigns.

Project Management:

• Manage day to day activity within the print/communication stream.
• Manage the project stream including potential issues, risks and impacts.
• Provide direction to a small team of marketing practitioners and ensure delivery or requirements.
• Provide regular status reports and communications on the project.
