5 Reasons why you should be Warhol’s Children’s Sales Manager

Warhol’s Children – www.warholschildren.com.au – is the magazine about other people. We’re currently digital, in social channels and our first print edition is in pre-production.

We’re maybe the most interesting thing to happen to the on-line and off line magazine business in a while.

And we’re looking for a sales manager. Initially, it’s commission based, but this will become a commission plus salary position, with a view to equity for the right person.

Before you read on, you need to know this first: This is a start up. We’re live and running and growing, but there’s a long way to go. It means if you want to walk in the door to a corner office and wait for the phone to ring this is not for you.

5 Reasons why you should be Warhol’s Children’s Sales Manager

1. We’re new, we’re growing fast, we’re busy and we need to monetise the magazine – and all of that that makes us very negotiable: we can discuss this over lunch.

2. Join and you’re management straight away. You’re not just some hack selling advertising for a bunch of people who aren’t interested in your opinions. We’re after someone that can guide us in managing the commercial side of our operations.

3. You get to build your team, your way, from the ground up and run the team the way you’ve always thought a sales tem should be run.

4. We don’t care how much experience you have. If needed we can provide mentoring from an experienced pro. We’re really after someone who gets what we’re doing and knows what to do with it and understand the scale of the opportunity we have – so we’re happy to trade off experience for intelligence and energy.

5. This is not just another ‘what’s on guide’ or more of the same bland ‘me-too’ mush. Warhol’s Children is a new kind of thing, an interesting thing – so you won’t end up in some dank hole working on something you can’t possibly believe in and wondering what the hell you’re doing with your life. We’ve all been there: this is a different place. This time you’re helping to create something that you can believe in.

If you’ve ever wanted to build a business of your own, if you’ve ever wanted to have a stake in something really interesting, get in touch.
