Right Idea, a Melbourne based advertising consultancy and part of the Growth Solutions Group – will debut new TVCs for Hardy’s Wines and Open Universities Australia. Both campaigns also include outdoor and print components plus online (Open Universities Australia) and in-store (Hardy’s Wines).
The Hardy’s campaign is based on the idea ‘Great Wines Don’t Just Happen’ and draws on the company’s rich 150-year heritage of wine making. “The Hardy’s commercial taps into the emotion of what is a much-loved Australian story that dates back 150 years,” revealed Right Idea’s Ms Leigh Rodgers who headed the creative team. In-store activity, including tastings, will be rolled-out Australia-wide to support the television and print components.
The Open Universities Australia TVC, and its supporting outdoor, on-line and magazine components are the next phase of the ‘You Don’t Have To Go To University To Go To University’ campaign which was launched in 2006. “The campaign has already delivered outstanding results with student enrolments up by over 200 percent since it first went to air,” Ms Rodgers said. Open Universities’ new TVC targets high achievers competing in the corporate world and extends the campaign to include the idea that it often takes more than one qualification to be competitive in the market for senior positions.
