Coca-Cola Australia has launched the ‘It Feels Good to Give’ campaign with The Salvation Army.
The campaign will be headlined by the iconic Coca-Cola Christmas Truck, which comes to Australia for the first time in a campaign developed by UM, Ogilvy, Pulse Communications, Maverick and Geometry Global.
The truck will deliver ‘surprise and delight’ moments in regional destinations around the country, such as Tamworth, Townsville and Mt Isa. The brand will gift each region items for their town, from lighting and sound equipment for a community music hall to a reusable outdoor cinema in remote far north Queensland. The truck will finish the tour at Woolworths Carols in the Domain in Sydney.
The Salvation Army was involved in determining which regions would be visited by the Truck and the gifts most needed for each region.
Australian singer, songwriter and actor Samantha Jade was on hand for its Australian send-off this morning.
“We’re thrilled to launch our new festive campaign with The Salvation Army this year that truly benefits communities in need and reminds us just how good it feels to give back”, says Jacqui O’Donnell, marketing manager at Coca-Cola Australia.
A multi-million dollar integrated marketing campaign featuring TV, online video, out-of-home, cinema, PR,social and POS will support the tour.
