Out-of-home (OOH) media operator EYE announces the appointment of Tony Kenna as general manager – sales, EYE Australia and New Zealand (ANZ).

Mr Kenna joins EYE, continuing a highly successful media sales career spanning a select group of media companies and sectors including radio, subscription television and most recently the brand funded content arena.

Mike Tyquin, CEO, EYE ANZ during the announcement said, EYE is very pleased to attract a media executive of Tonys calibre. It was a highly contested position and is representative of EYE’s leadership in the OOH business.”

Mr Tyquin added, “Tonys experience in building and maintaining sales teams when balanced with his vast knowledge and media skills in the market are a great fit for EYE.

“As the OOH sector heads towards the launch of MOVE and a new level in terms of growth and development, it is important for companies like EYE to employ media executives with outstanding credentials, who are known and trusted by clients as opinion leaders. Tony brings these attributes to EYE and we look forward to him joining us.” 

Mr Kenna joins EYE from Abundant Media, where he was a director, and will commence at EYE on September 8, 2008.
