Huggies in Brazil will Tweet you when your baby has a wet nappy

Share

Huggies Brazil is really taking social media to a whole new level. It has developed a device that can send you a tweet when your baby wets its nappy and they’ve called it: Tweet Pee.

The device, which is not yet available to consumers, attaches to the babies nappy – as demonstrated in the YouTube clip below – and detects the humidity created by a wet nappy. The device then sends a tweet to your phone that alerts when the baby has urinated and will even tell you how many diapers are left before you need to make a store run.

The wee sensor is the invention of Ogilvy Brazil and is currently just a concept device, with plans to release it in July this year.

The video is in Portuguese, but is fairly self explanatory.
