Leading brand and foresight strategist
Sérgio Brodsky (L.LM, MBA) is the founder and principal consultant at brand strategy, foresight and innovation firm SURGE and co-founder of digital communications agency TikMyDay. Sérgio is also marketing lecturer at RMIT, columnist and editorial board adviser at Marketing magazine, columnist at BrandingMag, inaugural chair of The Marketing Academy Australia, alumni and possibly the only formally trained ‘brand futurist’ in Australia, which allowed him to co-author a chapter about Strategic Foresight for the upcoming Routledge Handbook of Modern Marketing Research. This training also allowed him to formalise a radically innovative model to brand communications he coined ‘urban brand-utility’, through which a brand’s touchpoints become the deliverers of public utility services, underpinned by a circular revenue model. Sérgio is a sought after speaker, having been featured in high-profile stages across the US, APAC, EU and LATAM.
