1. What do you do?

I write books (Guerilla Marketing series), speak about marketing, and goof-off, working a three-day week from my home which Ive been doing since l971.

2. What was your first job?

My first real job after college was as a secretary in an advertising agency.

3. What did you study?

I studied psychology at College and skiing outside of College.

4. Describe a typical day?

I wake up without an alarm clock at about 11am, watch TV from bed till about 12.30pm, work until about 6pm, take my puppy to the puppy park until about 7 pm, eat with my wife till about 9pm, watch TV until about 2am and then rinse and repeat.

5. What brand do you love the most? Dislike the most? Why?

My favorite brand is Apple because its such a simple, DNA-like, in-your-face brand. How can you not love Apple? The brand I dislike most is AIG because I still dont know what the letters stand for or what the company is.

6. What do you believe has been the most significant moment in the history of marketing?

Easily its the invention of the press by Johann Guttenberg (did they have a spell-checker? I could have used one just a few words ago).

7. What advice would you offer younger marketers?

Stay in marketing because its one of the most rewarding and challenging fields on earth, while attracting the most brilliant and exciting people.

8. Where can people find you?

I will be making my first-ever public appearance in Australia at the Wealth From Marketing 1-day event.
