For those of you who don’t know me, I have a healthy interest in variable-data publishing (VDP). In my copious free time I spend far too much time exploring the wonderful world of variable-data publishing (VDP) on my VeeDeePee blog, which looks at all aspects and applications of VDP, both online and offline. However, in this new blog, I’ll be sailing down the channel of variable-data, specifically as it relates to printed direct marketing.

During my journey, I’ll be exploring the effective use of personalisation in printed DM, through the application of variable-data in text, images, graphics, maps, and so much more. I’ll also be picking up a few souvenirs along the way and sharing both the good and no-so-good examples of personalised direct marketing.
