ABC is not gating its content within its own iView, announcing that it will place full episodes of many of its shows on YouTube.

“We’re really happy to announce that the ABC has added long-form shows to YouTube,” reads an entry on the official Australian Google blog.

Shows to make it on to YouTube include, Review With Myles Barlow, Surfing The Menu, Enough Rope With Andrew Denton, The Librarians, John Safran’s Race Relations, Good Game, We Can Be Heroes, Hungry Beast, The Gruen Transfer, Aunty Jack, A Shared Table and more.

The ABC Connect YouTube channel has over 8 million views, and links back to the online store for program download purchases.
