Bluefreeway, a digital and interactive marketing communications group, shareholders have overwhelmingly supported Independent Print Media Group’s (IPMG) offer to privatise the group.

IPMG has been a substantial shareholder in the group since 2008. Michael Hannan, group managing director of IPMG, explained the companys future:

“This privatisation brings to IPMG the largest and most diversified group of digital and interactive marketing communication companies in Australia. As members of IPMG, these companies are now in a prime position to grow their businesses substantially with the support of a strong parent company.”

Hannan said the group had a 75-year history in printing, publishing, media and advertising. He indicated that the privatisation would add strength to the Group’s digital capabilities, backing up its more established traditional channels.

The privatisation will expand the Group’s service offering to include: hosting and infrastructure; online advertising management; website strategy, design and build; email and mobile marketing; performance marketing; digital PR, and, website analytics.
