A new study has revealed more than 60% of Australian CIOs and IT managers will work through December and January.

In addition, 52% will be considering new technology and IT services purchases at this time, while 69% expect their December workload to decrease of remain similar to current levels, dropping by 1% in January.

“Contrary to popular belief, our research shows there are good reasons to market at all times of the year. The market research confirms our suspicions at Outsource that there are plenty of senior decision-makers who can be reached in December and January,” Adam Benson, director of Outsource.

“Companies that keep their communication, lead generation and data cleaning programs running over this time of the year will be well ahead of the game in 2010.”
