Foxtel’s rebrand is ‘for everyone’, but does that logo look a little familiar?

Foxtel last week unveiled a new logo and brand strategy designed to promote the brand as one ‘for everyone.’
Foxtel’s rebrand and new brand strategy sees a new logo, which does look quite similar to that of a UK design company.
According to Foxtel’s community manager in a blog entry last week, the new logo, which was developed by design agency Maud, aims to express a more open and inclusive identity.
Further to the rebrand was the arrival of the re-vamped Foxtel Now service – the pay TV company’s internet-delivered TV service.
The new logo replaces Foxtel’s old all caps logo:
One eagle-eyed Marketing reader noticed a pretty strong similarity between the new logo and one developed by UK design firm Design Project for print specialist company Team.
