Google have launched ‘Google Stories’ on their official blog, which encompasses a series of posts of stories from people who can share how Google has influenced their lives.

According to the Google Blog, “We talk a lot about the products we build and the things we’re doing, but we dont often talk about the ways in which search touches people’s lives every day.”

In July 2010, Facebook launched 500 Million Stories on their official blog, where users can share stories of how Facebook has changed and influenced their lives.
