Google MD takes mobile sales position

Managing director of Google Australia and New Zealand, Karim Temsamani is taking on a new role as head of Google’s global mobile sales.

Temsamani will begin the position on 1 October, with no successor yet announced. His main role will be to lead Google’s global mobile sales ad strategy, building Google’s mobile arm.

“There’s no doubt that the future of the internet is mobile and I look forward to playing a greater part in this fast growing and exciting business,” said Temsamani. 

He worked in his previous role for over three years and was involved in growing Google’s search and display advertising business in Australia.
