Hendrick’s Gin helps the hospitality industry with a twist

Share

It’s been a tough two years for the hospitality industry. Hendrick’s Gin has teamed up with Maybe Sammy to help the hospo workers.

Hendrick’s Gin has worked with Sydney cocktail bar Maybe Sammy to create Batch & Bottle Hendrick’s Gin Martini. The tasty treat will be available both in the bar and available to-go, served up right in time for summer.

But this gin comes with a different twist. For the first 12 months post release, $1 from every bottle sold of the Batch & Bottle Hendrick’s Gin Martini will go to William Grant & Sons StandFast fund.

The fund was started to support the hospitality industry, which struggled, and continues to, through COVID-19 restrictions.

Maybe Sammy was joined by four other international bars to collaborate on the bespoke gin flavours. The other bars are Brujas (Mexico), Nauticus (Scotland), Nutmeg & Clove (Singapore) and Yaldy (Germany). The five bars have created a suite of delicious and delicate tastes.

Each bar has developed three delicate variations of the martini gin, exploring unusual combinations. All of them have been inspired by their unique locations, bottling the best of the different flavour elements.

The gin is also great for those who love to host a home cocktail party. Promising to elevate the usual, the Hendrick’s Gin Martini is pre-batched and ready to be served however the consumer wants: on the rocks, neat or with a twist.

It’s not only the flavour pairings but it’s focus on the suffering hospitality industry that is a key difference with this gin. Luke Sanderson, Hendrick’s Gin brand ambassador says of the gin: “The hospo industry has been hit hard and we wanted to do something to help the bartending community get back on their feet. I can think of no more pleasurable way to support our industry friends than sipping on a perfect Hendrick’s Gin martini.”

Batch & Bottle’s Hendrick’s Gin Martini is now available.
