Online electronics retailer Kogan has partnered with Collingwood Football Club to create what they claim is the world’s first club-branded TV.

The 42 inch full HD LED TV is branded with Collingwood logos on the front, on the start-up screen and on the remote control, in a bid to connect with fans of the football club. Kogan is also offering to shout existing club members a club polo, cap and scarf for buying the $449 TV, and a membership to the Magpie Insider club for non-members.

President of Collingwood Football Club, Eddie McGuire, says Kogan is the perfect partner for the club, given the home-grown, Melbourne-based success story they’ve become.

Toeing the corporate line, McGuire adds, “Kogan is a company renowned for quality, something we are now able to directly share with our members and fans. Hopefully, there will be a lot of joy for the Collingwood army in watching their team on a Collingwood TV. It will be the next best thing to being there at a packed MCG.”

Founder and CEO of Kogan, Ruslan Kogan, describes Collingwood as an innovative club. “This is another example of innovation at Kogan and demonstrates our commitment to producing the latest technology at Australia’s best prices,” he says.
