LinkedIn rolls out new company pages, mirroring Facebook

Share

LinkedIn has rolled out a new company page design to make it easier for users to find, follow and engage with companies they’re interested in.

Many of the changes mirror features adopted by Facebook and Twitter, such as the introduction of a ‘Featured Update’ tool, which will allow companies to promote important posts to the top of their page, and the addition of a cover photo.

The new streamlined design “spotlights your company’s products, services, and relevant career opportunities where they’re likely to get noticed: on your Overview page”, LinkedIn announced.

In September, the business social network started trialling the new design with partners including Philips, CitiGroup and American Express. It is now available to the more than two million companies on the site.

Company Pages will now appear on smartphone and iPad apps.
