On Friday 7th May, David Lo, managing director of The Marketing Zoo and chairman of the Australasian Promotional Marketing Association (APMA), will be swapping his office chair for a bicycle seat – he will cycle from Sydney to Noosa via Tamworth for charity.

Lo will cycle 1,500kms in 10 days for Tour de Cure, a charity dedicated to raising money for men, women and children with cancer and for cancer research.

90 people making the journey to the Sunshine Coast aim to raise over $1 million during this tour.

“Heading into my fourth Tour de Cure, I am really proud to say that with the support of everyone who has donated over the years, we have helped the riders cycle over 6,000km across four rides since 2007 and we have raised an amazing $3 million along the way,” said Lo.

Among the team of riders in this year are co-founding marketers Gary Bertwistle and Geoff Coombes, as well as Joshua McBride from Arnotts/Campbells and Andrew Max Walker, global brand director at Peroni who has flown from London for the event.
