Mohit Bhargava, general manager of sales and marketing at Village Entertainment and Topgolf Australia will depart after seven years at the company.

Bhargava held the GM role at Village for five years. Recently he’s played an instrumental role in the brand’s introduction of Topgolf to the Australian market. Previously he’s worked at Nova Entertainment as a senior digital marketer.

“Mohit brings with him a wealth of expertise in the entertainment and hospitality industry, particularly around marketing to families and couples, which is the lifeblood of BIG4,” says  BIG4 CEO Steven Wright. “He is highly respected and like the holiday park industry, comes from an industry that has been subject to major disruption in recent years.”

Bhargava will commence at BIG4 in mid February.

“I am so looking forward to commencing with BIG4,” he says. “It’s an iconic Australian brand operating in a circa $2 billion industry with strong growth potential and even though it is the clear market leader, it is not standing still.

Marketing congratulates Mo on the new position. He’s been very generous with his time and thought leadership in recent years, and filled us in on the Village brand’s brilliant approach to multicultural marketing in 2017 and again last year about how Topgolf is breathing new life into an ageing sport.
