Radian6 to extend listening coverage to Chinese and Russian social networks
Customer relationship management software vendor Salesforce.com has announced that its widely-used Radian6 social media listening platform is in the process of adding listening coverage in China and Russia. The move will allow global brands to listen to conversations and engage on the most popular Chinese and Russian social networks.
“With almost one billion users on social networks like Sina Weibo and VK.com, it is crucial for multinational brands to listen to every voice,” said Michael Lazerow, CMO of Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
The new listening capabilities on the leading social networks in China and Russia is part of Salesforce Marketing Cloud’s drive to lead the space globally.
With the addition of Sina Weibo and VK.com, Salesforce claims that Radian6 will be the first authorised application to provide listening of public social media conversations in China and Russia in real time. Marketers will be able to manage their own brand pages, and also monitor the public social conversations across each of the networks.
Real-time listening for Sina Weibo is currently scheduled to be available by Q4 2013, while real-time listening for VKontakte (VK.com) is currently scheduled to be available by Q2 2014.
