The email newsletter hall of shame: the most unsubscribed newsletters of 2013

Share

Email management software Unroll.me, which lets users view a list of all their subscriptions and unsubscribe to the ones they don’t want, has released its 2013 data on the most loved, and most rejected, email newsletters.

Of the 2.4 million newsletters that Unroll.me users unsubscribed from last year, flower delivery service 1800 Flowers took home the unflattering title of Most Unsubscribed’.

Note for the third list below (‘Most rolled up’): for those subscriptions users aren’t sure about, the service offers a ‘roll up’ where it combines all those subscriptions into one email digest per day. These therefore represent newsletters that are too important to reject completely, but haven’t earned their own slot in the inbox.

Keep in mind that these are unsubscribe rates among Unroll.me users, and not data from the organisations themselves.
