Starcom MediaVest Group (SMG) today announced the appointment of Linda Brown to the role of national systems catalyst.

Based in Melbourne, Ms Brown will be responsible for agency planning tools and systems and will report to national research and accountability director, Emma Montgomery.

In welcoming Ms Brown to Starcom, Ms Montgomery said: Linda brings extensive analytical and systems experience to us. She will ensure the best practice usage and application of all our syndicated and proprietary media research to deliver better planning and activation outcomes for Starcom clients.

Ms Brown joins SMG from Universal McCann Melbourne where she spent five years as a media analyst working primarily on the Coles Myer account.

She succeeds Katherine Fry who has transferred to SMG’s Brisbane office as a client business manager on the Subway account.

Ms Brown takes up her new role on June 30th
