Mitchell Communication Group has appointed Paul Davey to managing director of its media division.

Promoted from his previous position as the company’s corporate director of business performance, Davey brings 25 years experience to the company. In his new role, Davey will oversee media strategy and buying and planning agencies Mitchell & Partners and MPG.

“Paul is an important part of our management team and I’m delighted to announce his appointment to this role,” said CEO Stuart Mitchell. “We are committed to growing our business across all our divisions and Paul’s extensive experience in the advertising and media industries will help us achieve this.”

Davey’s career has spanned a number of international brands including McDonald’s, Microsoft and Coca-Cola. Prior to his appointment with Mitchell Communication Group, Paul was CEO of Omnicom Media Group for Australia and New Zealand and earlier launched OMD in Australia.
