Research Now SSI announces unified common data platform following merger

Research Now SSI has announced its portfolio of panel and integrated data is now available on a single common platform.

Research Now SSI says the move makes it a single provider of one of the world’s largest first- party data assets. The data is also available via API, “the first time that such quality data is available programmatically at scale,” according to the research firm.

“By giving our customers fast, easy access to our enormous and growing storehouse of data, we are acting as our own data exchange – the industry’s largest, where the data is carefully chosen and diligently managed,” says Gary S Laben, CEO of Research Now SSI.

With a global reach encompassing 60 million people and a library of more than 2700 profile attributes – collected through individual survey data – Research Now SSI says its dataset is the largest of its kind. The resources are designed to deliver a variety of advantages, including precise audience selection, reliability, and superior feasibility.

Research Now and Survey Sampling International (SSI) completed their merger into the current research organisation in December of 2017. According to the company, the availability of all of its panel and integrated data assets on a single platform – only nine months after the unification – was made possible via a “massive technology-driven data management effort” that involved gathering and reconciling tens of thousands of profile mappings and millions of data points.

Laben continues, “This is the first step in realising our strategy as a combined business to harness first-party data throughout the marketing spectrum, from market research to activation, to bring market researchers, marketers, advertisers and publishers insights based on the actual voice of the consumer.

“Developing a single platform so quickly is a testament to the seamless collaboration and single-mindedness of our technology, product, operations, panel and research science teams.”
