The Big Issue‘s Community Street Soccer Program unveiled its website as part of an ongoing branding overhaul.

The web portal was handcrafted pro-bono by Melbourne-based digital specialists, C2 Media, and showcases the work of the Community Street Soccer Program around the country along with highlighting the great support given to the program by a number of key organisations and ambassadors including former Socceroo and SBS chief football analyst Craig Foster.

Foster is a long-standing supporter of The Big Issue and works year round with the Community Street Soccer Program.

The Big Issue CEO Steven Persson said the new website was a fantastic way for the organisation to showcase the great work of the Community Street Soccer Program and highlight the power of sport to change lives.

“Street Soccer is about fun, friendships and inclusiveness. The new website embraces all of this and highlights the fantastic support we receive from a number of key organisations across the country including the Federal Government, VIC Health, BHP Billiton, Macquarie Bank, Goldman Sachs JBWere, SBS and a number of A League Clubs,” said Persson.

The site features inspirational messages from Street Soccer participants and high profile supporters while giving visitors a comprehensive look at what the program is about, where it operates and how to get involved.

“We have been working with The Big Issue throughout their rebrand for the past few months and following the launch of the new Street Soccer portal will now look to create other dynamic digital climates for their other initiatives such as the well known Street Magazine Enterprise and The Big Issue Classroom,” explained C2 Media’s Stuart Lee.
