ACP Magazines has announced the launch of its new cross-platform Parenting Group with the appointment of Deborah Thomas as Editorial Director.

Thomas, regarded as one Australia’s most experienced and successful magazine editors, takes on the role in addition to her position as editorial director of The Australian Women’s Weekly.

The Parenting Group – with six magazine titles, Bounty hospital sample bags, in-hospital television and a website hub – is set to be the most comprehensive source of parenting information in the country across multi-media channels.

“ACP Magazines’ Parenting Group will reach 94% of all new mothers in the country and 82% of pregnant women – it is an exciting prospect and one to which Deborah can add exceptional value,” said ACP Magazines’ Group Publisher Women’s Lifestyle titles, Pat Ingram.

“Along with her editorial talent, Deborah’s involvement in women’s groups and hospital boards make her a wonderful asset to this group.”

Thomas will be working closely with Parenting Publisher, Jo Runciman, and Editor-in-Chief, Fiona Baker.

Regular magazine titles in the group include Mother & Baby and Pregnancy & Birth in addition to a range of annual magazines.
