Across homes, workplaces and cities, a global, immersive, invisible, ambient networked computing environment built through the continued proliferation of smart sensors, cameras, software, databases, and massive data centres in a world-spanning information fabric known as the internet of things.
Strategic research consultancy Frost & Sullivan forecasts the market potential of this ‘connected living’ paradigm at USD$731 billion into the next decade.
