Receipt marketing company Shop A Docket has won the tender to supply cash register rolls to Woolworths and Big W in a move that will see its grip on the industry tighten even further.

It is estimated that the company’s advertising space currently reaches 83 percent of shoppers across Australia, with this new deal expected to increase that figure to about 93 percent. That equates to about 16 million docket ads delivered each day, which will now almost double to 31 million.

The deal to supply the two retail giants adds considerable might to Shop A Docket’s network, which already includes Coles, Kmart, Target and most smaller supermarket chains.

The 25-year-old business started in Brisbane with just one client, but now boasts an advertising network of more than 2300 stores nationally.
