Volvo Car has announced the launch of a global campaign that aims to deliver what it says is “a more powerful, modern image of Volvo as an uncompromising, daring and impassioned brand”.

The campaign, ‘There’s more to life than a Volvo. That’s why you drive one.’, depicts the car brand apart from other luxury European automotive brands, and features Volvo’s C30, C70, XC60 and DRIVe models.

Appearing across print, web, radio, TV, out-of-home executions, the campaign was creaed by global agency Arnold/Nitro, with Australian execution by SapientNitro and media partner, MindShare.

“The campaign is about the bigger picture; about life, living and enjoying the things that really matter. It’s something everyone can relate to, no matter where you are in the world – but I genuinely think that Australians, renowned the world over for our love of life, are really going to relate to the campaign. We are talking about safety in a more self-confident and appealing way than we’ve ever done before,” said Greg Bosnich, marketing director at Volvo Car Australia.
