Andy Lark is to leave Xero after the accounting software company announced changes to its organisational structure.
Accounting software company Xero has told investors it is restructuring in pursuit of its goal of reaching $1 billion of operating revenues. The ASX and NZX-listed company says it is implementing a ‘flatter’ organisational structure with country managers reporting directly to the CEO.
Andy Lark’s position, chief marketing and revenue officer, will be replaced by a chief marketing officer who’ll focus on global brand and marketing communications. Xero has begun the search for potential CMO candidates as it revealed Lark has chosen to explore new opportunities outside of Xero. Lark has had a long-standing relationship with Xero, previously consulting with senior executives before being named global CMO in October 2014.
A spokesperson tells Marketing the changes will have no further impact on the marketing teams currently in place.
