Brand social media faux pas: paying for likes, hiding negative comments and overselling

Share

US advertising agency Brunner has released an amusing animated video series telling brands what not to do with social media strategy.

The series of seven short videos (all contained below) goes through the social media faux pas that brands are often unfortunately known for making:

    1. Using multiple voices,
    2. paying for all of your likes,
    3. liking your own content,
    4. taking too long to respond,
    5. denying posts exist,
    6. taking credit for others’ content, and
    7. talking about yourself and overselling.
