Julian Cole is a busy guy. In between single-handedly taking major transport companies to task, writing one of Australias top 50 marketing blogs, being a regular media darling on all things social media, and helping out over at Naked Communications, Julian has put together a list of the top 50 Australian marketing blogs, with his own pioneering twist on the best-of-the-best.

The list has been put together using collated data from the following rankings:

• Google PageRank
• Technorati Authority
• Technorati Blog Reactions
• Alexa Traffic Rank
• Bloglines
• Pioneers Score

All are ranked out of 10, and then an overall score out of 60 is given for each blog. The Pioneers Score is Julians own ranking, which rates the blogs based on:

1. How thought provoking is the content
2. How often is the site is updated
3. How much insight does the author provide into the field of Marketing

Details of what each of the other rankings means and how they are calculated can be found in Julians follow-up post, Methodology for the Top 50 Australian Marketing blogs, but for the time-being, if youre a marketer and you blog, you can now get an idea of where you fit into the Australian marketing blogosphere.
