The Australian Council of Trade Unions (ACTU) has appointed Community Engine to redevelop the Your Rights At Work website

The site will be redeveloped to encourage an online community among unionists. The platform functions will be shared among the ACTU’s 46 affiliated unions. According to the ACTU the site will be a space to discuss relevant issues, upload and share content with distribution to Twitter and Facebook.

“User content and participation to generate content will be integral to the site, born of the understanding that multiple ‘real’ voices lend unparalleled credibility and authenticity to any campaign like the ACTU’s,” said ACTU president Sharan Burrow
