Traction Promotions wins platinum at 25-year anniversary edition of APPA awards
Traction Promotions has come away with the Platinum trophy at this year’s Australasian Promotional Products Association (APPA) awards for its ‘gift with purchase’ development of a cooler with built in flat screen television for their client Lion promoting Tooheys Extra Dry.
Award judges decreed Traction’s consumer prize campaign was a perfect fit for the client’s target market. The result of the campaign was a substantial increase in sales and heightened brand awareness.
“With 14,000 likes on Facebook and some of the best volume sales figures seen, Traction Promotions truly has risen above the crowd to create a loved product among winners, store staff, the sales team and consumers,” the judges commented.
Now in it’s 25th year, the APPA awards bring together over 800 member companies across the Australasian region to celebrate the promotional products industry.
APPA CEO and president of the International Federation for Promotional
Products Associations (IFPPA) William Kestin says the event, “highlighted the
growth of the industry which reached $1.36 billion in Australia and $144
million in New Zealand this year.”
“We are extremely proud of what APPA has accomplished over the last 25
years. In fact, we are one of the only industry associations which has
increased its membership every year since inception,” he says.
