7-Eleven turns its famous $1 coffee into a scrub

Love it or loathe it, 7-Eleven’s $1 coffee is a well-known treat. The unlikely king of coffee has now branched out temporarily into the skin care sector.
Coffee scrubs have been all the rage for years now. One of the first products made famous by influencers, coffee scrubs were all over our Instagram feeds some eight or nine years ago. The coffee scrub has remained a beauty and skincare staple throughout the years, and 7-Eleven has gotten onboard.
Employing the talents of actor and influencer Olympia Valance, the coffee scrub is in partnership with Adore Beauty. Not only is the exfoliant made up of the same beans that are in the $1 coffee, but it price matches the cup of joe as well.
Valance boasts an audience of 210,000, and is using her platform to tell the world about the new product.
“Coffee and skincare products are two things I can’t live without. Being the face of 7-Eleven’s Coffee Body Scrub was a no brainer,” Valance said.
In an innovative and unique way to show the quality of the coffee, 7-Eleven’s head of marketing communications Adam Jacka spoke of the unusual partnership.
“We’re thrilled to be launching 2022’s most unexpected arrival in beauty, the 7-Eleven Coffee Body Scrub,” said Jacka.
The product is available from 22 March 2022 for a limited time.
