Bruni Dunn Advertising, a Melbourne start-up, has picked up the Haymes Paint account.

Bruni Dunn opened its doors only recently and is headed by Dino Bruni and Lachie Dunn. Bruni brings 20 years account management experience to Dunn’s extensive creative portfolio. The agency purports to offer big agency thinking without big agency overheads.

Haymes Paint national sales and marketing manager Jamie Freeman explained the pitch:

“Bruni Dunn approached us with a comprehensive and cut through brand, retail and trade campaign that demonstrated a thorough understanding of our business and the paint category. We look forward to working with Bruni Dunn to build our brand and drive sales.”

The account is worth an estimated $1.5 million.

“In today’s economic climate there’s a real market for clients wanting big agency thinking and creative without all the staffing layers and overheads of large agencies,” said advertising director, Bruni.
