Who’s who in the Zoo: Nielsen Online’s new national sales director
Nielsen Online has added to its local management team, gaining the talents of Matt Bruce as research firm’s new national sales director.
Bruce will be responsible for devising the structure, systems and processes throughout the sales teams that will support the company’s revenue growth as well as adding to its client base.
Megan Clarken, managing director of Nielsen Online Pacific says, “Considering (Matt’s) past online experience and achievements, we are confident that he will play a vital role in helping Nielsen Online steer and manage this period of growth, spurred on by increasing demand for our services”.
“I am delighted to be joining Nielsen Online at a time when there are so many exciting opportunities for growth,” says Bruce.
“Having a background in the online industry as well as servicing large corporate clients. I can see how new services like Buzzmetrics and Ad Effectiveness can really contribute directly to the growth of their businesses.”
Bruce formerly worked as the general manager of homesite.com.au, where he tripled the site’s revenues and helped integrate the business after the site was acquired by the REA Group in March 2007.
It certainly has been a busy year for Nielsen Online when it comes to employee appointments.
It signed on a new managing director, Megan Clarken, and director of industry solutions, Stuart Pike, so it seems the company is actively looking to further expand its Pacific operations.
