Samsung Electronics has announced the appointment of two senior executives, Tyler McGee and Maxime Bonpain.

A release from the mobile handset provider says that Tyler McGee joins this month as vice president of telecommunications, charged with the aim to make Samsung become the leading mobile phone brand in Australia within the next two years – an ambitious project indeed.

Supporting the team will be Maxime Bonpain who joins the mobile team from Samsung UK in a new role as head of marketing, telecommunications.

“I’m eager to start working with the Samsung team and our partners to build on the achievements of 2008,” says McGee.
