MarketingTV reports from the DT Melbourne office during its 24-hour hackathon to develop ways to leverage wearable technology for Red Cross Australia.
The Red Cross is currently celebrating its Australian centenary and DT has devised a concept to use cutting edge (and not yet fully understood) technology – Google Glass – to demonstrate how technology can help the Red Cross for its next 100 years. The hackathon was a 24-hour discovery journey to create Glass concept apps that will help the Red Cross continue to help Aussies in need. The hackathon is a continuous session where teams will plan, design and code a viable app.
