Josh Moore to Y&R New Zealand

Y&R New Zealand has announced the appointment of Josh Moore as Executive Creative Director.  Moore has been working in Sydney for the last five years as ECD and Partner in US the startup agency for the media shop Razor.  

Y&R Brands CEO Russel Howcroft said signing Moore was a great coup for the NZ agency. 
 
“Josh is a proven performer in building business and brands. His creative track record is pretty impressive too. Coulson has had an eye on him for some time and rates him highly.  New Zealand has a well-earned reputation for punching above its weight in the creative stakes and Moore will be a great addition to our NZ team.”
 
Rated one of the top CD’s in Australia, Moore has been recognised at all major shows including Cannes, One Show, D&AD, NYC, Effies, Caples, Young Guns and AXIS.  His award-winning portfolio includes work for Hallensteins Glassons, Nestle, Bank Direct, BMW, Sony, Toyota, Vodafone, Suncorp, Genesis Energy, Stella Artois, Subaru, EA Games, Fairfax Media, SBS and Nike.
 
Before leaving NZ for Sydney, Josh worked at Saatchi & Saatchi, Publicis Mojo, Lowe and Generator.

“I’m thrilled we’ve lured Josh back to NZ.  He’ll be working alongside me, Jason Wells (innovation director), Janisa Parag (planner) and Nigel Hammersely (digital director) and Barry Williamson (media director)”, said Y&R CEO Jon Ramage.

“He’s ambitious for the agency and chomping at the bit to get stuck into it.  We’re all looking forward to him arriving., he added.

“I’m stoked to be heading back to NZ and working with the team at Y&R, they have some great talent, fantastic clients and great creative opportunities.” said Josh.  “And of course I’ll be just in time for the RWC!”

Josh will be based in Auckland with national responsibilities.  He starts at Y&R on 5 September.
