Coca-Cola kicks off No Sugar ‘biggest product launch in a decade’

Share

Coca-Cola South Pacific has announced the launch of Coca-Cola No Sugar.

Coca-Cola has discontinued production of Coke Zero and introduced Coca-Cola No Sugar.

The new drink has been in development at the company’s US headquarters for more than five years. It’s the brands biggest investment in a new product launch since 2006.

An integrated marketing campaign will champion the launch, encouraging Australians to ‘say yes to the taste you love’ by trying the drink.

“Coca-Cola No Sugar is the product of years of extensive research, consumer testing and trials by our flavour experts and we are confident we have created our best-tasting sugar free recipe ever,” says Marina Rocha, group marketing manager at Coca-Cola South Pacific.

More than two million free samples of the new drink will be given away nationwide over the next two months.

The sampling campaign will feature a new interactive outdoor advertising panel featuring a LED screen where consumers can literally ‘say yes’ to redeem a free sample vended directly from the refrigerated panel.

Australia is one of the first markets to welcome the new product, following its debut in Mexico. It will be available nationally in all major and independent retailers from 16 June.
