The Comms Council loses CEO

The Communications Council announced today that CEO Daniel Leesong (who was also a regular contributor to Marketing magazine) is leaving the industry body, with his departure effective immediately.
Leesong has been in his role for less then two years, and no reasons were disclosed relating to his departure.
In the mean time, Margaret Zabel, the former national marketing director of Lion Nathan will take the place of interim CEO while the council seeks a full time replacement.
Recruitment agency Hourigan International will assist the in seeking its new CEO from both locally and overseas.
