Online entrepreneurs climb Forbes rich list

A raft of internet entrepreneurs have seen their value rise in the latest Forbes 400 wealthiest Americans list.
Facebook’s founder Mark Zuckerberg, who is the youngest person on the Forbes list by 10 years, has risen to number 158 with an estimated net worth of $1.95 billion, one fifth of the social networking site’s $10 billion valuation.
Google co-founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin came in at number 11 with $15.3 billion each, with colleague Eric Schmidt a little further down with $5.5 billion.
Yahoo! co-founders David Filo and Jerry Yang came in at 296th and 317th place at $1.3 billion and $1.25 billion respectively.
America’s richest man continues to be Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates who has an estimated net worth of $50 billion, followed by investor Warren Buffett with $40 billion and Oracle founder Larry Ellison with $27 billion.
Media mogul and News Corporation chief executive Rupert Murdoch came in at number 37 with $6 billion, just above Apple chief executive Steve Jobs at number 43, with a net worth of $5.1 billion.
