Mercedes-Benz Vans partners with Airbnb to launch the Marco Polo Activity

Mercedes-Benz Vans is giving Airbnb users the chance to spend a night in the brand new Marco Polo Activity van.
To promote its new Marco Polo Activity van, Mercedes-Benz Vans is setting three of the vehicles up on Cockatoo Island, giving Airbnb users the chance to spend a night in one.
The five- to seven-seater van has a roof that pops up and back seats that fold down for sleeping.
The vans for the promotion are styled by Megan Morton, Australian author and stylist.
“Instead of a regular vehicle launch, we wanted to bring the spirit of the Marco Polo to life,” says Diane Tarr, managing director of Mercedes-Benz Vans Australia and New Zealand.
Despite emerging in recent years as a consumer favourite in its own right, Airbnb is further increasing its reach and disrupting the hotel and accommodation industry by building high-profile partnerships with big brands and organisations such as Qantas, Ikea and the nation of Sweden’s tourism board.
The vans are available to book today on a first come, first serve basis. The competition campaign is being promoted via the #MarcoPoloActivity social push.
