Share

The industry-based short course is a new partnership between RMIT Online, brand agency Thinkerbell and well-known Australian businesses such as THE ICONIC, Vegemite and Koala.

RMIT Online says that the Brand Experience (Bx) learning stream was created to address a growing industry demand for Brand Managers, a field which the institution says is expected to grow at a rate of 22 percent over the next five years. Students will learn about brand differentiation and how to create a brand promise that resonates with its customers.

“Brand strategy is at the heart of the most successful leading businesses, and we are proud to be working with such iconic partners to introduce our newest offering, ‘Brand Experience’.” says Helen Souness, CEO at RMIT Online.

Launched by RMIT University, RMIT Online provides digital learning experiences to equip students in-demand skills and qualifications in specific areas like Bx. The first intake of this new course begins in October, 2020 and costs $990 six weeks.

Matt Gray, head of marketing at Bega Foods has said: “Vegemite is arguably Australia’s most iconic brand. It has a clear meaning, is distinctive and a household name.  Many people who want to understand marketing can possibly learn a bit from what this little yeast based spread does so well. We’re proud to be a part of this online course and share some of our learnings.”
